What Color Is Good For Your Skin Tone?

With the new Basics store in the starplaza, I thought it was best to show all of you which colors complement each skin tone. I divided the twelve colors by the six skin tones and found the best two matches for each. It is important to be aware of this so you don't choose a color that washes you out or buy all colors. Because there are only certain colors that each girl would need
- Olive Skin .

The Olive skin tone is one thats very unique and beautiful in its own sense. It isn't completely different but it subtly stands out. The best color overall for this skin is a turquoise/teal color. It greatly complements the skin tone and gives the medoll and overall glow. Also, Lavender is almost opposite teal but it still looks fabulous on olive skin. Lavender is for the more girly medoll and the medoll that is going for the pretty and classic look. You can pair it with more edgy items to add contrast and create your own new style that everyone won't be able to take their eyes off of.

Beige Skin .

The Beige Skin tone is very classic and a common look in real life. The colors and style that you pick with this look is how one stands out. The best color for this skin is apricot. Many may be looking at this weirdly and thinking "why didn't she say blue?" Blue does look great on this skin, but apricot does the best overall of not washing the medoll out. It really does complement the skin more than people know. I chose a classic pink as the second color. Although I do personally think a royal blue looks better on beige skin than pink, pink adds that certain flair that a girl with this skin covets. It does look great and it helps one with this skin to stand out.

Golden Skin .

Golden skin is absolutely gorgeous to the world. In the USA, this is the type of skin that most girls want and go tanning to get. The best color to wear with this skin is actually white. Although people are saying to themselves that this is not a real color, it is the best at complementing the skin tone and makes the tan of the girl glow immensely. White is a very flexible color. It can be worn in several different styles. Red is also a great color to wear because it gives a very classic look. A girl with this skin and a red dress cannot go wrong.

Bronze Skin .

This just happens to be my personal favorite shade and the shade of my medoll. Two colors definately stood out as being the best to wear but in different ways. Beige or Golds are great for this shade of skin. When one wears this, they are basically exagerating the tone of the skin. The skin is highlighted in a beautiful way and only the beauty of the girl is shown. Baby Blue is also a great color to wear with this skin tone. It is vibrant, fun, and approachable. This will grab the eye of everybody in the room and help others see the true beauty that lies within.

Brown Skin .

This shade is one of the most seen in where I live. Many African American woman that we see have this skin tone and it is incredibly gorgeous. It should be used more on Stardoll. The best color for this skin is Lemon Yellow. This is a very light color that adds great contrast. Contrast from skin to clothes is a good clue at finding a nice shade for yourself. There isn't much to say about that color because one can easily see how great it looks on the medoll above. Light Pink is another great color for this skin. It is very delicate and pretty which adds another contrast to the harsh and fierceness in the face of this medoll. It is very feminine as we all know and would look great at the park during the day

Deep Skin .

This is probably the most unused shade on Stardoll. I understand why people are intimidated by this but it becomes absolutely incredible once you know how to own it. Coral is easily the best to wear with this skin tone. It adds a great balance to the entire look. The medoll looks complete and beautiful with this color. This is actually better for her than pink because of how much bolder it is. Light Green is the next best. It complements the skin while not bringing all of the attention to it. It would be a great color to use with white accesories. But the accessories should be subtle

So I hoped that this helped all of you and I really hope that you take some chances and explore different looks for your medoll. Just try out different skin tones. You may like it. I had two other skin tones before the one that I am currently wearing and now I love the one I have. So try new things and choose outfits that complement your new skin tone. If you follow this post, I'm sure that you can't go wrong
